Joel Campbell has expressed his desire to be given a chance to prove his worth at Arsenal.
The Costa Rica international signed for the Gunners in 2011, but work permit issues have resulted in him spending time on loan with Lorient, Real Betis and currently Olympiacos, who face Manchester United in the Champions League tonight.
It has been reported that the necessary paperwork has been completed for the 21-year-old to return to the Premier League next season, and he has admitted that is keen to make an impression.
"As soon as Arsenal came, I wanted to join them and I believe I am ready to play for Arsenal next season," he told Sky Sports News.
"I know I have the capacity to play there. I am only waiting for the opportunity. With hard work I know I can get there."
Campbell has scored seven goals so far this season.
