Arsenal, Leicester City to battle over Porto midfielder Otavio?

Arsenal and Leicester City are weighing up a move for Porto midfielder Otavio, according to a report.

Porto midfielder Otavio is a summer transfer target for Premier League pair Arsenal and Leicester City, according to a report.

The 25-year-old is believed to have turned down a number of opportunities to extend his Porto contract, which is due to expire at the end of the season.

Otavio is not expected to move this month, but Tuttomercato claims that a number of clubs are already waiting to pounce for the soon-to-be free agent.

Arsenal and Leicester are said to be among those showing an interest, while Serie A quartet Roma, Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan are also keen.

Former Internacional man Otavio has spent five seasons in Porto's first team and has played a direct part in six goals in 10 Primeira Liga outings this term.
