Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey believes that the club can succeed without former captain Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes that the team need to move on from the loss of captain Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas finally left the North London club for Barcelona this week following a lengthy transfer saga.

Wales captain Ramsey has said, however, that the team can succeed without the Spanish international.

“It's time to move on. He was a great player for the club but now he's gone,” Ramsey told Sky Sports News after the team's 1-0 victory over Udinese.

“We just have to concentrate on what we've got here. We believe the squad we've got is very talented and we can achieve something this season.

“Hopefully we can carry on from where we've left off tonight, and keep getting positive results.”

Arsenal continue their season campaign at home against Liverpool on Saturday.
