Jose Mourinho: 'Arsenal are great rivals to Chelsea'

Jose Mourinho says that Arsenal are 'great rivals' of Chelsea ahead of Saturday's showdown at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that his team must not get another 'bad result' in the Premier League as they prepare to face 'great rivals' Arsenal at Stamford Bridge this Saturday.

This fixture has an added intensity to it due to the frosty relationship between Mourinho and his Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger.

During Chelsea's 2-0 win over the Gunners at Stamford Bridge last season, Wenger and Mourinho almost came to blows following a tussle on the touchline.

Heading into this weekend's match, the Blues have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League, while Arsenal are unbeaten in four domestic games.

In contrast, Chelsea's Champions League campaign is in a better state following Wednesday's 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv, but Arsenal failed to overcome Dinamo Zagreb as they suffered a 2-1 loss in Croatia.

"We come with a different feeling," Mourinho told Chelsea TV. "We can wake up with a different state of mind. Saturday is a big match - it's a great rival.

"This result can put us in a better situation. We had too many bad results. We couldn't have this one on top of it."

The defending champions are already 11 points behind league leaders Manchester City.
