Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

Liverpool can move one step closer to breaking the 100-point barrier when they travel to North London to take on European hopefuls Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

The Premier League champions recently relinquished their perfect home record as Burnley managed to salvage a draw at Anfield on Saturday, meaning that Liverpool need to win all three of their remaining fixtures to surpass City's record point haul.

Even though the grand prize in the form of the Premier League trophy has already been claimed, the Liverpool faithful will no doubt want to see their side go all out to etch their name in English football folklore for years to come.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their trip to the Emirates.

James Milner

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

James Milner was forced to miss out the draw with Burnley after a muscular injury he picked up a few weeks ago flared up. The midfielder's absence was more precautionary than anything else, but Liverpool have not set a date for Milner's return.

Jordan Henderson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Jordan Henderson suffered a knee injury in Liverpool's victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, and Jurgen Klopp has since confirmed that the Reds captain will not feature again until next season.

Joel Matip

Status: Out

Possible return date: Unknown

Joel Matip is another player that Klopp will have to make do without for the remainder of the campaign, with the Cameroonian centre-back out for the season after picking up a toe injury in the Merseyside derby.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no suspension concerns heading into the clash with Arsenal.
