Kay Burley fronts her first show for Sky News after returning from a six-month suspension.

Kay Burley has returned to work at Sky News following her six-month suspension for breaking coronavirus rules.

The veteran presenter was put on leave last December after it emerged that she had held a birthday party in London with friends and colleagues - including Sky's political editor Beth Rigby - in a breach of the tier rules in operation in London at the time.

Burley was back on the air with her Kay Burley at Breakfast show at 7am this morning, telling viewers: "Hello everybody, it is great to be back. It is 7 o'clock here in the UK - welcome, wherever you're watching us around the world. Let's crack on."
