Piers Morgan reveals that he has discussed "a few opportunities" with Simon Cowell.

Piers Morgan has hinted that he may partner up with Simon Cowell on a new show in the near future.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter has previously worked with Cowell on Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent, the latter of which helped him to become a household name in the States.

Morgan has recently been linked with a return to BGT, although that prospect appears to be dead in the water as one of his conditions for returning to the show is that David Walliams is axed from the judging panel.

Discussing his future with The Sun, Morgan admitted: "I saw Simon Cowell recently, and of course he got me my first big break in America.

"We walked for three hours. I got terrible blisters but I didn't dare tell him because it felt like he was going to keep going until one of us surrendered.

"We talked about a few opportunities - I would like to work with him again."

Cowell is said to have developed several new TV formats over the last year and is also working on a retooled version of The X Factor.
