Fashion guru Gok Wan has been named host of a new ITV daytime show, Bling, centred around jewellery.
The 20-episode series will be set in the 'Bling' jewellery store, following the stories of customers who are looking for a new item or are looking to have one of their own treasured possessions repaired.
"Jewellery can mean so much more than simply being just an accessory," said Wan, known for Channel 4's How To Look Good Naked. "And figurines, timepieces and delicate heirlooms often carry a special significance.
"I can't wait to see some beautiful bling and delve into the stories that really make it sparkle."
Producer Matt Floyd added: "Coming out of lockdown, Brits will be desperate to get out and get their bling on; whether it's bedazzling an old party dress, fixing a favourite bracelet or selling an unwanted watch for some extra cash.
"That's why Gok's one-stop shop for all things Bling is the perfect opportunity to get the nation shining."
The show, which is currently casting for participants, is expected to air on ITV later this year.
