Tiger King star Jeff Lowe has claimed that Netflix have been filming a bonus episode of the show and plan to release it in the next few days.
The seven-part series, which tells the extraordinary story of zoo keeper Joe Exotic and his rivalry with big cat sanctuary owner Carole Baskin, was released on the streaming platform on March 20.
In just a fortnight the show has become a worldwide phenomenon and has made household names out of its participants, including Lowe, a businessman who took over Exotic's zoo.
"Netflix is adding one more episode. It will be on next week," Lowe said in a video posted to TMZ. "They're filming here tomorrow (Sunday)."
Netflix has yet to confirm Lowe's claims and it remains unclear whether the bonus episode will feature contributions from Exotic - now in prison - and Baskin, who has denounced the series for "unsavoury lies".
