The Masked Singer hit by leak?

Identities of the contestants participating in series two of ITV's The Masked Singer have reportedly begun to leak.

ITV is reportedly concerned that the new series of The Masked Singer may be spoiled by audience leaks.

The show, which debuted earlier this year, sees mystery celebrities sing and perform while concealed by preposterous costumes - leaving the judges and viewers to guess at who's behind the mask.

The entire second series was pre-recorded in September in front of a limited studio audience and although audience members were required to sign non-disclosure agreements, the Daily Star says that the identities of some of the masked celebrities have started to leak.

"Countless people saw the big reveals of who the celebrity contestants are," a source told the Daily Star.

"They are all told they must keep it secret and not tell anyone. But quite a few have been telling their friends. During filming for the first series, it was easier to keep everything secret.

"But now the show is such a hit, there is a lot more interest and some people who were at filming sessions haven't been able to resist gossiping about it."

The new series launches on Boxing Day on ITV.
