Simon Cowell speaks for the first time following his latest bike crash in London last week.

Simon Cowell has described himself as "a bit of a nutter" following his latest bike crash last week.

The 62-year-old fractured his arm after coming off his electric bike at 20mph while not wearing a helmet as he drove around London last Thursday.

The incident came just 18 months after Cowell suffered a serious injury in a similar accident in California which required him to undergo surgery for a broken back.

"I'm OK. I'm feeling much better thank you," he told the Daily Mail yesterday.

"I'm a bit of a nutter. I'll definitely wear a helmet next time."

Cowell is currently in the UK filming the new series of Britain's Got Talent, which is expected to begin on ITV in April.
