Sharon Osbourne is back at home in California after being hospitalised with a "medical emergency" last week.

Sharon Osbourne is recovering at home after being rushed to hospital on Friday, her son Jack Osbourne has revealed.

The 70-year-old was filming an episode of Jack's show Night of Terror in Santa Paula, California when she suffered a "medical emergency" and was taken to hospital.

In a post on social media, Jack refused to divulge exactly what had happened to his mother but did confirm that she is now doing fine.

He wrote: "Ok here is what I'll say - first things first MY MOTHER WASN'T FILMING A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures.

"She was filming a new episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha.

"Now that we have made that clear... she has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support."

Sharon is currently taking time off from her show The Talk on TalkTV while she recovers.
