Gemma Collins reveals that she has sought spiritual assistance as her father battles coronavirus in hospital.

Gemma Collins has revealed that she has been praying to angels as her dad fights coronavirus in hospital.

Alan Collins, who is in his 70s, was hospitalised over Christmas after contracting COVID-19 and at one stage was fighting for his life.

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, The Gemma Collins Podcast, the GC shared the good news that her father's condition is improving and has credited a higher power for helping him defeat the deadly disease.

"I have been praying to the big man up there," she told listeners. "I have been calling on the angels.

"I had a very big indication that the angels had heard me because I had really been praying to the angels about my dad.

"I was driving to the hospital. I am not going to lie... this big white feather came across my windscreen. I was like, 'It is a sign. They can hear me'."

Gemma's mother Joan Collins also contracted coronavirus at the same time as Alan but has gone on to make a recovery.
