The trial of R Kelly for sexual abuse over a period spanning 30 years has heard from its first male accuser.
The 54-year-old rapper is in court facing a significant number of charges, including child sex exploitation, production of child pornography, kidnapping and racketeering - all of which he strongly denies.
On Monday, as the trial entered its eighth day, the court in Brooklyn heard from a man with the pseudonym "Louis", who alleges that he was abused by Kelly as a 17-year-old in 2006 after meeting him at McDonald's.
Louis claimed that the singer invited him to his home and asked him what he was "willing to do for music" before performing oral sex on him.
The man - now aged 32 - said that he continued to see Kelly and engage in sexual activity as he "really wanted to make it" in the music industry.
Louis also described how Kelly insisted that he be referred to as "daddy" - a claim also made by his female accusers - and alleged that the rapper had filmed some of their sexual encounters.
If convicted, Kelly faces between 10 years to life in prison.
