Betty White's agent denies claims that her death was related to the coronavirus vaccine booster.

Betty White's agent has denied speculation that her death was in any way related to the coronavirus vaccine booster.

The beloved star died on New Year's Eve at the age of 99, just three weeks shy of her milestone 100th birthday.

Despite her advanced years, White was said to be in good health in the weeks before her death - sparking wild theories that she had died as a result of having the booster shot several days prior.

White's agent Jeff Witjas told NBC News that she had not received the booster just before she died, adding: "People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier but that is not true. She died of natural causes.

"Her death should not be politicised - that is not the life she lived."

White had spent much of the last two years shielding at her home in California in a bid to avoid the disease.
