McFly to release first new album in 10 years

McFly announce their first new music in 10 years, with an album due later this year and a new single imminent.

McFly have announced a reunion for their first new music in 10 years.

The boyband - Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter - debuted in 2003 and had a string of hits including 'All About You', '5 Colours In Her Hair' and 'Obviously'.

The group last released an album in 2009 and then went their separate ways with individual projects, although they did form a supergroup with Busted - McBusted - for a brief period in that time.

Now McFly have signed a new deal with record label BMG and will release a new album later this year, with the first single expected some time this month.

The four-piece had been due to tour the UK later this year but those dates have now been pushed back until 2021 due to coronavirus.
