Lark Voorhies to return for Saved By The Bell reboot

Lark Voorhies is to reprise her role as Lisa Turtle for the upcoming reboot of Saved By The Bell.

Lark Voorhies is to reprise her role as Lisa Turtle for the upcoming reboot of Saved By The Bell, according to EW.

The new series will be released on streaming service Peacock next month and follows a new gang of students at Bayside High, where AC Slater (Mario Lopez) is now the PE teacher.

Also returning are Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano, Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris - now the Governor of California - and Tiffani Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski, Zack's wife.

Little is known about Voorhies's return, including how many episodes she will appear in, although her character Lisa is now said to be "thriving with a successful career in fashion".

The news means that Dustin Diamond, who played Screech, is now the only actor from the original gang of kids not to be invited back for the reboot.
