Doctor Alex George has said that the funeral for his younger brother Llyr will take place today.

The 30-year-old revealed the tragic news that he had lost Llyr "to mental health" last month, just weeks before he was due to start medical school.

Writing on Instagram this morning, George said: "Life throws us into the deep end at times, however, with family and friends we overcome the most seemingly insurmountable challenges.

"Today is for you Llyr".

Yesterday the former Love Island star admitted that saying farewell to his brother would be "the hardest day of my life".
