The Wanted star Tom Parker diagnosed with inoperable brain tumour

The Wanted singer Tom Parker has revealed that he has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour at the age of 32.

The Wanted singer Tom Parker has revealed that he has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

The 32-year-old was told that he had stage 4 glioblastoma - a terminal condition - over the summer after suffering several seizures.

Parker, who is currently expecting his second child with wife Kelsey Hardwick, has now begun radiotherapy and chemotherapy in an effort to prolong his life.

"I need everyone's love and positivity. I am going to fight this," he told OK! magazine.

"We are already exploring alternative treatments and looking at clinical trials both here and abroad, and our friends have been doing research.

"There are so many stories of people who were given a bad prognosis and are still here five,10, even 15 years later. We're going to fight this all the way."

After The Wanted went on a break in 2014, Parker went on to play the lead role of Danny in a UK tour of Grease and also competed on Celebrity MasterChef, reaching the semi-finals.
