Little Mix 'to announce split next month'
Little Mix will reportedly confirm rumours of their break-up in an official announcement next month.

Little Mix will reportedly announce that they are splitting up as soon as next month.

The group - Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - have been operating as a trio since the departure of Jesy Nelson almost a year ago and plan to release a new album next month followed by a UK-wide tour next Spring.

A report last week claimed that the girls intend to put the group on hiatus once the tour is over in order to work on solo projects, but The Sun now says that they will announce a full split.

"There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Little Mix but it is now very clear that the end of the road has been reached," a source told the newspaper.

"A date is set to announce the split. The upcoming tour is going to be a farewell to their fans."

Nelson, meanwhile, recently launched her own solo career, managing to crack the Top 5 of the singles chart with her debut track 'Boyz'.
