Claire Richards announces plans to release an album of cover songs originally made famous by legendary female musicians.

Claire Richards has announced plans to release an album of cover songs originally made famous by legendary female musicians.

Called Euphoria, the album is out on August 25 and features tracks such as 'Song For The Lonely' (Cher), 'Xanadu' (Olivia Newton-John) and 'Gloria' (Laura Branigan), as well as duets with Delta Goodrem and Erasure's Andy Bell.

"Every single song is a banger – listening to this album just makes me feel good," the Steps star said. "I want everyone to whack it on before they go out and get themselves completely in the zone of having a good time."

The album release has been preceded by Richards's cover of Celine Dion's 'I Surrender', which is out on download and streaming now.
