Former Bond girl Tanya Roberts dies, aged 65

Former Bond girl and star of That '70s Show Tanya Roberts dies suddenly at the age of 65.

Tanya Roberts, best known for her stint as a Bond girl in A View To A Kill, has died unexpectedly at the age of 65.

The actress - also known for That '70s Show and Charlie's Angels - is said to have collapsed on Christmas Eve after taking her dogs for a walk.

According to TMZ, Roberts was then taken to hospital and put on a ventilator but never recovered and died on Sunday.

Mike Pingel, Roberts's long-time representative and good friend, told The Hollywood Reporter: "I'm devastated. She was brilliant and beautiful and I feel like a light has been taken away.

"To say she was an angel would be at the top of the list. She was the sweetest person you'd ever meet and had a huge heart.

"She loved her fans, and I don't think she realised how much she meant to them."

Fellow Bond girl Britt Ekland paid tribute on Twitter, writing: "Rip Tanya Roberts, once a Bond Girl always a Bond Girl!"

Roberts is survived by her husband Lance.
