The school that Love Island's Hugo Hammond was working at before he entered the villa says that he will not be returning after the show ends.

The school that employed Hugo Hammond before he entered the Love Island villa has said that he will not be returning to work there after the show ends.

The 24-year-old, who works as a primary school PE teacher, has spoken openly about sex during his short time on the show so far, including admitting to once having had sex in the middle of a road.

Social media users have questioned whether his appearance on the show could damage his future career prospects, although the school he worked for earlier this year have confirmed that he will not be returning.

A spokesperson for Blundell's School in Devon, which welcomes pupils aged 2 to 18, told the Daily Star: "Mr Hammond was here on a very short placement during his teacher training in the Spring Term. He was not employed by the school."

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 with the first dumping of the series.
