Gary Lucy's final episode of Hollyoaks will air tonight on E4.

Gary Lucy's swansong from Hollyoaks will air tonight in a one-hour special.

In the episode, Luke heads away to Mallorca with fiancée Cindy (Stephanie Waring) and their friends for a joint stag and hen do.

But while the girls go off on a spa day, the boys hit the beach - and a series of shocking events leads to a tragic end for Luke, who has been battling a terminal illness for some time.

The special episode had originally been due to air on E4 on Tuesday but has been brought forward by 24 hours to accommodate an England football match on Channel 4.

The episode will be shown on Wednesday on Channel 4 at 6pm and will also be made available on All4 from later this morning.

Lucy, 40, first appeared on Hollyoaks in 1999, returning to the role of Luke in 2017 after a 15-year break.
