Former Coronation Street star Will Barnett has reportedly joined the cast of Hollyoaks in a mystery new role.
The 22-year-old appeared as teen tearaway Tyler Jefferies, whose mother Vicky became involved with Robert Preston, between 2018 and 2019.
Barnett also had a brief role on Emmerdale earlier this year playing a guy that a drunk Liv almost slept with before Aaron chased him away.
According to The Sun, the actor began filming his new part on Hollyoaks this week and his first scenes will be shown in September.
Barnett already has an established connection with the soap in the form of younger sister Ruby O'Donnell, who has played Peri Lomax since 2013.
