Mel B says that Spice Girls are hopeful of performing at the Glastonbury Festival next year.

Mel B has confirmed that Spice Girls are hoping to perform at next year's Glastonbury Festival.

The girl group reunited as a four-piece - minus Victoria Beckham - for a limited tour of the UK and Ireland in 2019 and have been rumoured to be getting back together again for more dates, including a possible world tour, in the near future.

The band had also been linked with a Glasto appearance this year and although that failed to materialise, Mel B has insisted that it could still be in the pipeline.

"It's the dream, the absolute dream, yeah, we would love to do it," she told BBC Breakfast.

"You know what, the girls and I, we have chatted about it. You know, it's the biggest stage in the world, we have the best festival in the world right here."

Mel added that she had "a good feeling" that Victoria would be part of any future performance at Worthy Farm.
