The final 10 countries qualify for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The final 10 countries have qualified for this Saturday's grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Despite some rocky rehearsals, Cornelia Jakobs - one of the bookies' favourites - qualified for Sweden, while Australia also made it through, having fallen at the semi-final stage last year.

Ireland's Brooke Scullion had been a crowd favourite in Turin this week but failed to make the grade, and she will be joined in taking an early bath by Israel, Georgia, Malta, San Marino, Cyprus, North Macedonia and Montenegro.

Rock group The Rasmus earned a spot in the final for Finland, qualifying alongside Serbia, Poland, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Belgium and Romania.

Tonight's 10 qualifiers will join the 10 countries who qualified on Tuesday night, along with the so-called 'big five' of countries - the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany and France - who automatically progressed to the final without having to qualify.

The all-important running order for the final will be decided later tonight.
