Emmerdale legend Claire King admits that she shouts at co-workers who do not wear masks on set.

Emmerdale veteran Claire King has admitted that she shouts at fellow cast and crew if they are not wearing masks on set.

Two of the ITV soap's stars - James Hooton (Sam Dingle) and Jurell Carter (Nate Robinson) - have recently come out to reveal that they will not be taking the potentially life-saving coronavirus vaccine.

King, 58 - aka the Dales' resident super bitch Kim Tate - was forced to take six months off work last year as her underlying health conditions left her vulnerable to COVID-19 and has admitted that she has no time for co-workers who are not taking the pandemic seriously.

"I still shout at people for not wearing masks - it's just respect for other people, isn't it?" she told The Sun.

"I don't understand why some people don't want the vaccine, either. I've had both my jabs and if I get side effects, I'll deal with them.

"I was told there was a high chance if I got COVID-19 I wouldn't survive it, so it was always the better option. I have no issues with it.

"If you're not going to get the vaccine, have a bit of respect for other people and wear a mask."

Emmerdale continues weeknights on ITV.
