Dawn attends the funeral of her best friend Beth, who died from an overdose, and catches up with her friend Jade. Later, at Jade's, Dawn finds a child called Clemmie - and Jade reveals that it's Beth's daughter, who doesn't yet know that her mum has died. With Jade now drugged-up herself, Dawn makes an impulsive decision and takes Clemmie back to the village.
