Steve shows Abi and Kevin a picture of Maggie, a potential match from the dating site, but Abi storms out when Kevin starts making sexist comments. Later, Steve reveals that Maggie has agreed to meet him for lunch in the Bistro... are things looking up for him?

In his cell, Roy has another flashback to Lauren and Max in the cafe but can't figure out why it's significant. Nina pays Roy a visit but when he fails to show, she alerts the prison officer, who finds Roy collapsed on the floor in his cell.

Paul's fuming when the cab arrives to take him to the radio interview but it's not suitable for his wheelchair - and the driver is rude and dismissive. Later, during the interview, Paul tells Amy about society's lack of regard for disability but gets carried away and ends up swearing live on air...

A man called Denny approaches Bernie outside the café, telling her that he heard Paul's radio interview and had no idea that his son was dying. Bernie claims that the interview was pre-recorded and Paul has already died, but Denny doesn't believe her and follows her up into the flat. Gemma and Paul are shocked to come face to face with their dad as Bernie watches on in horror.
