Next week on Coronation Street, Audrey's life is left hanging in the balance as her son Stephen returns to Weatherfield.
Elsewhere, Tracy's horrified to see Wendy back on the street, Max finds himself the victim of blackmail and Tim's unimpressed with his and Sal's first sex therapy session.

Max is served up some catfish
While Max is getting ready for his date, he gets a message from Sonya asking for a picture of his whole package. He obliges - but then at dinner, Sonya reveals that she has never texted him, and it dawns on them both that they've been set up. Later, Max receives a message demanding a grand or his naked picture will go viral.

David tells Max that the blackmailer won't be getting any money and he just needs to front it out. At the bus stop, his blackmailers are revealed as Chris and Blake start quoting Max's messages to Sonya back to him.

Audrey in peril as the wanderer returns
Shona does a deal with Gail - she'll keep tabs on Audrey if the brass elephant goes. Later, in the pub, Gail tracks down Audrey and tries to wrestle a bottle of red out of her hands.

Audrey arrives at the barbers, cracks open the wine and starts flirting with Ryan. David tells her to go home and as she goes to grab her coat, she falls over Gail's elephant and is sent sprawling across the floor.

After Gail has a go at her over her drinking, Audrey announces that she's going home. Returning to an empty barbers, she falls into the motorbike which sends her toppling.

After spending the night injured in the barbers, Audrey lets out a weak cry which alerts Brian and Elaine, who summon help. Meanwhile, Stephen Reid emerges from a taxi and quickly breaks down the barbers' door, horrified to find his mother on the floor.

The Platts rush round as an ambulance arrives to take Audrey away. Stephen berates them all for not realising that she'd been gone all night.
