Rosie Wright, one of the original presenters on GB News, leaves the broadcaster.

Rosie Wright has announced that she has presented her final programme for GB News.

The journalist, who had been with the broadcaster since launch in June 2021, fronted its daytime news bulletins and was a regular stand-in host on Breakfast.

Today's edition of the morning show proved to be her last, however, and she signed off with a farewell at the end of the programme.

"That's it for me on GB News," she told viewers. "Thanks to everyone who's tuned in over the last 18 months or so, it's been a pleasure."

Wright's departure comes after Colin Brazier, Mercy Muroki, Inaya Folarin Iman, Alex Phillips and Darren Grimes all left GB News in recent months.
