Premier Sports is to broadcast German cup competition the DFB-Pokal in 2021-22.

Premier Sports has secured the rights to Germany's domestic cup competition, the DFB-Pokal, for the 2021-22 season.

The broadcaster, which also broadcasts the Copa del Rey and Portuguese top-flight football, takes over coverage of the cup from streaming service OneFootball.

Coverage begins with round one next Friday, August 6, when 20-time winners Bayern Munich travel to fifth-tier side Bremer SV.

Borussia Dortmund's tie at third-tier Wehen Wiesbaden will be shown on Saturday, August 7, with Kaiserlautern against Borussia Monchengladbach following on Monday, August 9.

After the first round, Premier Sports will broadcast two live games every round leading up to the final on May 21, 2022.
