GB's Tonia Couch nails diving bronze in Russia

Tonia Couch picks up bronze for GB in the women's 10m platform, while Canada's Meaghan Benfeito takes top honours.

Tonia Couch has picked up a bronze medal for Great Britain at the World Diving Series in Kazan, Russia.

The 25-year-old, who had earlier come last during qualifying for the finals of the 10m platform, scored four 70-plus dives to finish a comfortable third with an overall score of 360.30.

A tense finish saw Canada's Meaghan Benfeito end China's dominance of the event, as a final dive of 81.60 edged her ahead of Chen Ruolin for a total score of 383.10 to Chen's 381.75.
