Indian Wells Masters champion Cameron Norrie and former British number one Dan Evans headline the Great Britain team for this year's Davis Cup Finals.

Dan Evans and Cameron Norrie will headline the Great Britain team for this year's Davis Cup Finals, which starts on November 25.

The prestigious international event will see GB participate in Group C with France and the Czech Republic, facing the former in Innsbruck on November 27 before battling the Czechs a day later.

With Andy Murray expected to sit this year's event out in order to enjoy a well-deserved break, Indian Wells Masters champion Norrie - Britain's number one and the world number 14 - headlines the initial four-man squad.

Evans was knocked off his GB perch following Norrie's triumph in California earlier this month, while Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski are also in the squad as doubles specialists.

Following the announcement of the squad, Davis Cup captain Leon Smith told the LTA website: "Every player has had a career-best season and will bring some strong qualities to the team.

"A fifth player will be confirmed in the next few weeks and we are very much looking forward to playing in the finals again this year, having missed it in 2020."

Great Britain's only Davis Cup triumph since 1972 to date came in 2015, with the team of Andy Murray, Kyle Edmund and Jamie Murray defeating Belgium 3-1 in the final.
