Result: Aileen McGlynn wins bronze in the women's individual pursuit

Great Britain win bronze in the women's individual pursuit.

Aileen McGlynn and her pilot Helen Scott have won bronze in the women's individual pursuit.

Great Britain were guaranteed a bronze medal, as McGlynn's opponent in the third-placed match was teammate Lora Turnham.

McGlynn finished a second ahead of Turnham and her pilot Fiona Duncan.

In the gold medal race, New Zealand's Phillipa Gray won in 3:32.243, finishing just outside the world record.

The silver medal went to Catherine Walsh of Ireland.
