Aside from Aaron Finch getting dismissed for a duck in his first ball, Australia's top order impressed as Usman Khawaja ended the innings with a knock of 98.

The 29-year-old was run out just two runs short of a century, but captain Steven Smith led the charge as he hit 74 runs before getting caught and bowled by Carlos Brathwaite.

George Bailey reached a half-century, and even though the rest of Australia's lineup tumbled, they managed to post a target of 266 for the Windies to chase.

Marlon Samuels was the star batsman for the hosts as he hit 92 runs off 87 deliveries, while opener Johnson Charles reached 48 runs before being trapped lbw by Adam Zampa.

Australia paid the price for a number of dropped catches, and it was Brathwaite who nudged the Windies over the line for victory.

The Aussies remain at the top of the table on nine points, while West Indies have eight and South Africa have five.
