Having won the toss, the hosts made 267 before bowling their opponents out for 180 with around 12 overs remaining.

Morne Morkel scored the bulk of South Africa's runs at the crease thanks to an impressive knock of 101, but Hashim Amla (29) and AB de Villiers (23) were the only other of his teammates to get beyond double figures as the tourists were soundly beaten.
