Rain washes out Centurion ODI

Heavy rain forces the umpires to abandon the third ODI between South Africa and India at Centurion.

The one-day international between South Africa and India at Centurion has been abandoned due to rain.

South Africa had already won the series following victories in the first two games, and they were in a strong position as they looked for a whitewash thanks to 101 from Quinton de Kock.

De Kock's third century in as many matches helped the hosts to 301-8, before a spell of heavy rain ruined South Africa's chances of another success.

The umpires called the game off before India could begin their reply, and South Africa win the three-match series 2-0.
