The Rajasthan Royals win in the Indian Premier League against the Royal Challengers Bangalore with one ball to spare.

The Rajasthan Royals recorded a four-wicket victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur this afternoon.

The Challengers elected to bat first, but their opener Chris Gayle was unable to match his record-breaking performance from last time out.

He still topscored for his side with a knock of 34 runs from 16 deliveries, but once he was caught by Sanju Samson, the Challengers struggled to add significantly to their total.

Chasing a victory target of 172, the Royals lost opener Ajinkya Rahane for just two runs. However, that brought Samson to the crease and he put his team in command by scoring 63 runs before his wicket was claimed. Australian Shane Watson also added 41.

Despite the fact that they lost two wickets in the final over, the Royals reached their target with one delivery and four wickets to spare.
