The Royals were put into bat first and made 191-5 from their 20 overs before the Kings XI reached their required target for the loss of three wickets and with around one over remaining.
The dismissals of
(13) and Ajinkya Rahane (23) left the Royals on 54-2 after six overs before Abhishek Nayar 's knock of 50 gave a much-needed boost to their total. Shane Watson was sent back to the pavilion having made a disappointing 13 in the 15th over, but 52 from Stuart Binny and 27 not out from Sanju Samson saw Rajasthan finish with a flourish out in the middle.
