England win their final warm-up match by 253 runs ahead of Friday's first one-day international with India.

Jonathan Bairstow starred for England as they won the final warm-up match on the tour of India by 253 runs against a Hyderabad XI.

Yorkshire batsman Bairstow struck 104 not out off just 53 balls as the visitors recorded a score of 367/4 from their 50 overs.

Captain Alastair Cook also produced a good knock with the bat, reaching 85 before being caught by Hanuman Vihari off the bowling of Medhi Hasan.

In reply, the Hyderabad XI started positively but after Scott Borthwick claimed the wickets of opening pair Akshath Reddy and Dwaraka Ravi Teja, their innings fell away.

Borthwick ended his bowling stint with figures of 5-31, while debutant Stuart Meaker claimed 3-30 as the hosts were bowled out for 114 from 35.3 overs.

The first one-day international between India and England takes place on Friday.
