Australia secure the Test match series against India with victory inside three days at Perth.

Australia have taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in their series against India after beating the tourists by an innings and 37 runs in the third Test match at Perth.

Ben Hilfenhaus took three wickets in a single over as the Aussies took the final four Indian wickets without conceding a run to wrap up victory inside three days.

Virat Kolhi struck a Test best 73 for the visitors but India were bowled out for 171, just ten more then their first innings total.

Seamer Hilfenhaus finished with figures of 4-54 while Peter Siddle contributed figures of 3-43 as the hosts stormed to an innings victory.

Aussie batsman David Warner was named man of the match after his score of 180, which came from just 159 balls.
