WB unveils Comic-Con lineup
Warner Bros. announces a 17-strong lineup for Comic-Con, including Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory and The Vampire Diaries.

Warner Bros. will bring 17 shows to Comic-Con next month, the studio confirmed on Friday.

As usual, Supernatural - returning for a ninth season - will have a session in Hall H on the Sunday, with a panel including Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins and Mark A. Sheppard, plus execs Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer.

Representing The Vampire Diaries in its Saturday session will be Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham and Candice Accola, as well as execs Julie Plec and Caroline Dries. Spinoff series The Originals also gets a session, with series stars Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt, Phoebe Tonkin and Charles Michael Davis appearing.

Cult comedy The Big Bang Theory has a session on Friday, while other returning shows include Kevin Bacon's The Following, Revolution, Person of Interest and Nikita.

As tradition, WB will screen full pilots for some of its new shows on Preview Night (Wednesday). This year the lineup includes JJ Abrams' Almost Human, The Tomorrow People and The 100, as well as a sizzle reel for The Originals.
