Travellers using the London Underground system are experiencing early disruptions on day seven of the Olympic Games, with the majority of traffic expected to hit the Olympic Park in Stratford this morning.
The athletics get underway at the Olympic Park today and there are expected to be delays on the Central line after it emerged this morning that the line between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone has been suspended due to signal failure.
The Jubilee Line at Kingsbury is also expected to experience problems due to an earlier staff shortage, while the Piccadilly line through Hyde Park Corner is likely to be delayed because of the same issue.
Meanwhile, roads into Central London are expected to be busy following the current closure of the A10 High Road in Seven Sisters due to a security alert, while slow traffic continues to dominate the A12 southbound at Lea Interchange because of traffic management for the Games.

Fans travelling by car may have to be diverted following the closure of the A83 Argyll and Bute between the A814 junction due to a landslide.
