Team GB's Naomi Folkard has been defeated in the second round of the women's individual archery event after she lost 6-2 to Mexican Mariana Avitia.
After the opening set was shared 28-28, Avitia hit two 10-point shots to take the second set 29-27.
Despite a slip from the Mexican, Folkard could not do enough to capitalise and she lost the set 27-26 to fall behind 5-1.
Folkard needed to win the remaining two sets to tie the match, but after she only scored 26 with her three arrows in the fourth set, Avitia stepped up to hit the nine she required to tie the set and progress to the quarter-finals.
