Wales edge out England for bronze in 57kg freestyle

Wales win their 23rd medal of the Commonwealth Games courtesy of Craig Pilling's bronze in the men's freestyle 57kg at the SECC.

Craig Pilling has defeated England's Omar Tafail in the men's freestyle 57kg to win Wales's 23rd medal of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The 27-year-old won the contest on points at the SECC to secure bronze for his country.

Pilling racked up six points to Tafail's one in the first period, and although England came out 4-2 in the second, it was not enough to deny Wales the medal.

Amit Amit Kumar of India saw off Nigeria's Ebikweminomo Welson to win gold in the final.
