Aljaz Bedene: 'I will learn from second-round Wimbledon loss'

British number two Aljaz Bedene hopes that he can become a better player following his defeat in the second round at Wimbledon.

Aljaz Bedene has said that he will learn from his loss to Viktor Troicki in the second round at Wimbledon in order to be a better player next year.

The British number two lost in four sets to the Serb, two days after winning a Grand Slam match for the first time in his career.

The 25-year-old said at his post-match press conference: "Overall was good week. I'm happy with the way I played on grass. Yeah, just a little bit disappointed with the loss today, because I know if I play my best tennis I could win.

"I could be two sets to love up in the first two sets. In the first set I just made too many errors when I was a break up. I have to learn something from it and hopefully, well, definitely I will be a better player next year.

"Next year is definitely going to be a different story. I will be used to all the media attention. Hopefully I will get to play on a little bit bigger court. Yeah, I mean, hopefully [the British fans] will love me."

Bedene, who was born in Slovenia, only took up British citizenship earlier this year.
