Tomas Berdych has booked his place in the fourth round of the US Open by claiming a 6-3 6-2 6-4 win over Teymuraz Gabashvili.
The 2012 semi-finalist did not drop a set as he saw off his Russian opponent in under two hours.
In the opening set Berdych broke Gabashvili at 3-2 ahead on his way to establishing the lead, before breaking Gabashvili twice in a dominant second set.
Gabashvili then lost his serve in the first game of the third set, as Berdych eased to the win.
Berdych will now play the winner of Feliciano Lopez and Dominic Thiem's tie in the next round.
