Andy Murray believes that Feliciano Lopez will provide a tough test in their US Open third-round match.

Andy Murray has insisted that he expects a tough match against Feliciano Lopez in the US Open third round.

The 25-year-old has only lost one set in six matches against the Spanish player, but he has said that Lopez's style ensures that he can trouble any opponent.

Murray said: "I've had good success against him in the past, but because of his style he can make it very tricky.

"I've played him a lot. I do know his game well. He's got a big serve on him and he likes to come to the net. I've always played well against him."

Murray's match with Lopez is expected to start around 6pm UK time.
